hey everyone it's ricky kazaf it's another episode of men up in the last one, i did make over on three gentlemen i didn't have the chance to show my best because of some issue with electricity to make up for that, i've decided to return to mongkok
Mongkok Hong Kong, i invited you guys to join via my social media pages asking those of you who want a makeover to show up so many of you came can we get some cheering going?
alright i'm going to do makeover on 6 people instead of 3 i think quite a lot of viewers are waiting for their turn i'll pick 6 people among them let's get started i was really excited to see so many of you but i was also really nervous and felt kind of stressful there were over a hundred of people witnessing my work if you were me, you would be just as nervous it was a little overwhelming
but as a makeup artist, i had to keep it professional focusing on my work and ignoring everything else that was going on the one thing in mind was to do the best look on my clients i put myself in work mode once we started the first guy i picked was ricky not because we have the same first name but because he was there super early and he approached me asking for a makeover i gave him tips on skin care during his session hopefully he can make good use of those tips
after base makeup and brow grooming i began to work with his hair he has dry hair and naturally curly that's a common thing for guys you can prep your hair with sugar spray then blow dry to create a glossy look i did an all back style and parted his hair
you can tell it gave much more texture to his hair it's a result you can easily achieve with natural curls so instead of straightening your natural curls, work with it it's a blessing not a problem i'm a subscriber of ricky's i was interested and figured it would be fun i look less tired and more refreshing a sharper look i think his hair and face look different from how he looked before
the second gentleman i picked was harry he is a typical good looking guy dark brows, big eyes as his brows are a prominent feature i worked with them soon as he sat down the ends of his brows were a little droopy i got rid of all the stray hair below his brow and straighten his brow shape by shaving stray hair around the top edges his face looks cleaner and neater after just grooming his brows
looking sharper he has great skin with only a few tiny blemishes it's normal and really common for guys i showed him an easy way to conceal blemishes hope he can do the same thing at home he had an all back style with parting when he came but like many other guys the main issue is that the top part weights down easily
i showed him a solution prep hair with salt spray it's necessary especially with his coarse hair blow dry and use zig zag iron on the roots to create volume after that i used a glossy wax to set his hair look at the texture of his hair the shape also goes well with his face shape i watch his videos and he is really good at doing makeup and hairstyling i want that experience
it's a new look he gave me lots of tips i'll do better in men's grooming it's very refreshing, he looks betetr much sharper third guy was kelvin you could tell right away that he has oily skin his pores are quite visible had excessive sebum and quite a bit of redness on his skin
he told me that he'd like to improve his skin tone and want a slimmer face it takes injections to slim down one's face but let's see how far we could go with just makeup i kept asking for facial gel that day as the only thing oily skin needs is hydration not lotions that contain oil we worked on evening out his skin tone after prepping his face with skincare i evened out his skin tone with foundation i took a contouring pen and contoured his nose
his jaw line too that product i got from korea is awesome the redness was gone after contouring our initial thought was to spend 15mins on each makeover i think we overran in every single session because i wanted to do it perfectly i decided to do an all back style after playing around with his hair because his sideburns were trimmed quite shortly and he had thick hair on top
it looked better with an all back style i was really happy with kelvin's makeover what do you think? i've supported ricky since the beginning i think he started the men's grooming/ makeup for men trend that's why i came to join and show my support i think my face looks slimmer i think he really looks different now better looking
