we were so honored to have the chance to cooperate with christie's, and participate in biennial exhibition held in hong kong convention and exhibition centre. we have to exhibit about 900 pieces of art works. all of the works are so brilliant, and they have to be sold out in three days. unexpectedly, when we sent the design drawing to the chinese partner, and i didn't know how many working staff they had, they just spent two days
finishing the construction of 5000sqm exhibition space. right, lights and facilities, all finished. china is such a magical place, that chinese people always finish work in such a fast way, super fast way. it's so amazing, and we can't do it here. they are so effective, just like they are doing magic. it was in 1994 when i first came to china with my parents. and i was 26 then. i can speak chinese, but not that fluently.
i learned chinese from my parents when i was a little kid. there was a round table in my parents' house.
